We cooperate with over 20,000 farms, mainly in Upper and Lower Austria. We emphasise long-term cooperation and support our partners with advice, training and monitoring with regard to animal-friendly husbandry. Many of our farms voluntarily take part in animal welfare and animal health programmes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Short distances are an important measure for animal welfare. As our abattoirs are located in regions with high densities of pig and cattle farming, we can keep transport distances as short as possible. This reduces stress for the animals and signals responsibility throughout the entire process. We value our long-standing partnerships with our suppliers<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
